Salzburg, Mozarts’s hometown, is certainly a beautiful city and from a location close to the old town and historic sights the charming Boutique-Hotel Austrotel provides typical Austrian hospitality. Visitors are well placed to enjoy Salzburg’s fine architecture, historical buildings, theatres, restaurants and bars. Complimenting the city experience, three included ski excursions into the mountains allow a fine appreciation of the surrounding pistes. Guests may choose from:-

• Obertauern - hidden in the high Alps, and/or when road and weather conditions dictate, Zauchensee, a beautiful lakeside ski area.

• Gasteinertal - the valley is famous for its hot spring spa and its skiing.

• Kitzbuhel, one of the world’s most famous ski-resorts.

• Schladming - on the south side of the Dachstein massif, great views, lots of skiing and a World Cup race course.

• Flachau - ski the Flachau mountain, home to legendary skier Herman Maier; or ski across to Alpendorf and back.

• Leogang-Saalbaach-Hinterglemm - enjoy the "Ski Circus", a huge ski area with a great choice of slopes. The day is never long enough.

• Zell-am-See, a famous lakeside holiday town with lots of skiing.
