For a truly unique African adventure with spectacular wildlife viewing opportunities, don comfy boots and step out into exhilarating wilderness, walk through remote Masai heartland’s and get off the tourist-beaten track in regions that see little outside influence.  Peregrine Adventures has expanded its popular African programme to include two new 12-day East African Walking safaris, departing from Nairobi throughout 2007.

Kenya Walking Safari 12-days - next departure from Nairobi 22nd February then 21st June 2007.
Experience the true beauty of the Masai tribal heartlands during this inspiring walking adventure observing wildlife such as Black-maned Lion, Leopard and an abundance of bird life against a spectacular African backdrop.  Walk the crater edge of recently extinct volcano, Mt Longonot, absorbing stunning panoramic views then continue into the Loita Hills where further exploration offers genuine insight into the customs and lifestyle of the pastoral Masai.  Other highlights include Crescent Island Sanctuary, Hell's Gate NP, Lake Naivasha, Masai Mara National Reserve and a visit to a Masai Village.
The tour costs £1,740 p/p including camping accommodation with equipment, most meals, transfers, transport, game viewing activities, entrance and park fees and a Peregrine tour leader.

Tanzania Walking Safari 12-days - next departure from Nairobi 22nd February then 15th March 2007.
Walk amongst the villages of remote tribal groups and into the exhilarating wilderness areas of northern Tanzania.  Visit the endless plains of the Serengeti NP, home to a massive number of grazing animals and attentive predators, providing some of the world’s best wildlife viewing.  Take a game drive into the natural wildlife ‘park’ of Ngorongoro Crater.  Traverse part of the Rift Valley along a range of impressive volcanic peaks, steep escarpments, crater lakes, dense forests, waterfalls and pastures.  Other highlights include Ngorongoro Conservation Area itself and a Ilkidin'ga Village Excursion.
