Nestling in the Mamanuca chain, surrounded by crystal-clear waters and fringed by a barrier reef, lies the 160 acres of Tokoriki Island. Following a speedboat transfer from Nadi to the island resort, cool, spacious bures and one of the Pacific’s friendliest dive teams await. Outstanding diving is right on the doorstep, check out the rainbow-hued coral gardens, towering pinnacles, eerie tunnels and plunging drop-offs, the habitat for over 1200 fish species, from tiny translucent Gobies, vivid Angelfish and exotic Fijian endemics, to fast moving sharks and game fish. Outdoor dining at Tokoriki Island Resort is a romantic and sumptuous affair, enjoyed in the shade of the palm trees by day, or beneath a blanket of stars by night. With an emphasis on seafood and local ingredients, Tokoriki’s chef creates Fijian-inspired specialities with Pacific Rim influences. Dine on succulent papaya, freshly picked from the tree and lobster freshly caught from the sea!
The holiday now costs from £1,829 p/p (normally £2,179 - saving £350 p/p on normal full board package) including scheduled flights, transfers by road and sea and full board accommodation in a beachfront bure. A 10-boat dive package with tanks and weights costs £235 p/p.
