Egypt – Feluccas and Pyramids – 9 days departing from London 5th April 2007
From Cairo, see the last remaining wonders of the ancient world at Giza where the great pyramids still inspire awe and the sphinx’s enigmatic smile endures unbroken. Amongst the thronging crowds and aromatic odours of Khan el Khalili bazaar, haggle for perfumes and papyrus. Heading south, follow the Nile on a slow overnight sleeper train to Aswan. Here, ride camels into the desert, relax and explore the delightful town and take dinner with a Nubian family before boarding a felucca to voyage down the Nile... Visit the magnificent temples at Kom Ombo before continuing by road to Luxor and the great sites of the temples at Karnak. A return sleeper train to Cairo allows time for a visit to the world-renowned Egyptian Museum before boarding homeward flights. An optional Red Sea extension is available.

Spain – Alpujarras Explorer – 8-days departing London 31st March and 7th April 2007
Ideal holiday for families looking for a non-commercial area in southern Spain, staying in a beautifully-restored traditional villa, deep in the heart of rural countryside. Choose from a variety of walks in sight of Spain's highest mountain Mulhacen. Walk the ancient Camino Reales, trek through vineyards, olive and almond fields to traditional white-washed villages, mountain bike a 15km decent from a mountain pass and ride on horse-back along remote tracks before star-gazing on an overnight camping expedition. Especially suitable for very young children as on-site babysitting can normally be offered.
