Swimming with a Whale Shark is the ultimate wildlife encounter. Dive Worldwide offer a rare opportunity for divers to snorkel with up to 20 Whale Sharks at any one time, during a brand new 11-day holiday in Donsol, the Whale Shark capital of the World, in the Philippines. Considered to be the largest fish in the world, measuring from 15ft to 40ft in length, Whale Sharks have been found to convergein the waters off the small Philipino coastal town of Donsol. Harmless, gentle, friendly and even playful filter feeders, Whale Sharks allow humans to swim and interact with them, as they ponderously glide along close to the ocean surface. February to May is peak viewing for Whale Sharks and it is not unusual to spot up to 20 at any one time - an adrenaline-pumping experience! Unsurprisingly, Donsol has been dubbed the unofficial Whale Shark capital of the world!
Guests are based at the Vitton Beach Resort located adjacent to Butanding (Whale Shark) Interaction Visitor Centre, ideal for Whale Shark excursions. Brand new beachfront cottages are surrounded by tropical gardens lined with coconut trees.

The holiday costs from £1,569 p/p including scheduled flights, transfers, hotel accommodation with breakfast (1-night in Manila and 7-nights at the Vitton Beach Resort), 5-days snorkelling with Whale Sharks including picnic lunch, spotter and guide. Diving with the Whale Sharks is not permitted, however, a 2-hour boat ride will take guests to Manta Bowl where other dives are possible.
