Good Morning,
A weasel has taken up residence outside the downstairs office, evicting or possibly eating the fluffy bunnies formerly living underneath a nearby garden shed. Typing this text, I see him or her, for remote weasel sexing is not my speciality, trot purposefully across the grass, elevenses in the form of an unfortunate rodent, held proudly to the fore. Happily the weasel's arrival has been coincident with that of 642 mixed copper beach, hazel, blackthorn and dog-rose plants, that in time will resemble a hedgerow around the field boundary. I say happily, since the presence of the diminutive twinkly-eyed and sharp-toothed carnivore alleviates the need for a rifle besides my desk. Though unsettling to other office staff, letting fly with a couple of rounds out the window certainly kept the rabbit population worried and elicited in me a transitory thrill at least equivalent to plucking a troublesome nasal hair. However, in the end, like the nose hair, the rabbits always came back to continue a pace undoing my painfully sincere efforts at carbon-offsetting, nibbling off new trees neatly at ground level. Now, thanks to the weasel, a regime of zero tolerance has been effected...
So here's to biological pest control everywhere!
Which brings me to this week's website - www.wigglywigglers.co.uk
Have a great week,
Best,
Nick
