Press Digest 19th March 2007

Morning all,

It's late and I have to leave the house at 5.15am tomorrow, so no long rant.

Amongst the releases below, Wildlife Worldwide's new Zambia tour is certainly worth a look. Kafue is real wild man country, some of my best Lion experiences are owed to Busanga Plain - thanks to a guide called Dorian Tillsbury, a born again sommelier from Torquay!

Fearless indy publisher Bradt Travel Guides has one of its none-UK authors in country for a couple of days. Larissa Banting, author of Costa Rica will be around 26 & 27 March. Following news that Mel Gibson 'has decided' to make Costa Rica his permanent home, is she worried..? To arrange an interview, call the Bradt office on 01753 893 444 and speak to Felicity Stanbridge.

Also of interest, Bradt's 2007 Travel-writing competition in conjunction with The Independent on Sunday has kicked off, with some outstanding prizes for the winners - see www.bradtguides.com for more details.

This week's website of the week is www.visitsierraleone.org which is exactly what I'm doing while you read this.

I'm back in the office 30th March - Lindsay, Zoe and Kate will be around from Wednesday. FYI My mobile will be 'off' and I won't be checking email during this time away.

Have a good week,

Best,

Nick
