ROCKY ROAD TRIP
2-WEEK SELF-DRIVE TOURS

Beautiful Vancouver is the starting point for Lakes & Mountains Holidays’ 2-week circular self-drive tour exploring the national parks of the Canadian Rockies. Spend the first two nights in Vancouver, visiting Chinatown, Gastown, Granville Island and Stanley Park, or opt for a tour of the city aboard a hop on/hop off San Francisco-style street car. Fully orientated, collect the hire car and head eastwards through the Okanagan Valley, Glacier National Park and Banff and Jasper National Parks. In Banff, horseback enthusiasts may like to join an exhilarating 2-hour trail ride along Bow River and the slopes of Sulphur Mountain. Whilst in Jasper, an optional cruise on Maligne Lake, one of the Rockies’ most picturesque lakes, in a glass-enclosed boat, may be just the ticket! Heading back to Vancouver, travel through the Yellowhead Pass, Wells Gray and Garibaldi Provincial Parks. At Whistler, on the edge of Garibaldi Provincial Park, hike through breathtaking mountain scenery or get up-close to wildlife on an optional guided canoe trip. Back in Vancouver, catch up on some last minute shopping and sample the city’s cosmopolitan cuisine and nightlife before the flight home.
