LIVEABOARD HOLIDAY - GALAPAGOS ISLANDS


Dive Worldwide offer a 7-night dive holiday in the Galapagos Islands aboard the new Galapagos Eco Explorer I, allows between two and four dives daily in remote areas, including Wolf Island with spectacular highlights including Giant Mantas, Marine Turtles plus numerous tropical fish varieties and flora and fauna unique to the archipelago.  Trips depart from the UK throughout the year.

Diving the Galapagos can be challenging, but the rewards are great with other highlights including schooling Hammerheads, Galapagos sharks, Whale Sharks, Mantas and a myriad of other pelagic frequenting these waters.  On arrival in Ecuador transfer to hotel for overnight before transferring the following day to the Galapagos Eco Explorer I, comprising a dive deck with ample space for storing dive gear, suiting up and rinsing. The remote islands of Wolf and Darwin on the northern ‘outer edge’ of the Galapagos, are the first focus of this 7-night cruise.  The tour also includes a visit to the Marshall area of Isabela Island, on the western edge, for diving with Giant Mantas and Eagle Rays, plus sightings of Sperm Whales, flightless Cormorants, Mola Mola (12ft Ocean Sunfish) and many more unique underwater attractions.  Cross to the south side of the equator to Cabo Marshall and Isabela Island, for more fantastic dive sites with White-tipped reef sharks, Striped Salem, Parrotfish and turtles to keep divers inspired!  Visit Bartolome Isle for a day’s exploration through the unique lava landscape, and snorkel amongst the endemic penguins, Marine Turtles and Sea Lions. Back to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, for dinner and farewell party on board before disembarking the boat.

The holiday costs from £2,995p/p (based on two sharing) including scheduled flights, taxes, transfers, 1 night accommodation before and after the liveaboard (room only), full board whilst on the boat and diving.
Galapagos Marine Park fees are $100 (subject to change) and Recompression chamber fees are $35 - payable locally.  Fuel surcharge may be applicable.
