Equine Adventures has scheduled three extra dates for its fabulous 10-day horseback safari in South Africa’s beautiful and remote Songimvelo Game Reserve, plus an extra special 7-night New Year safari featuring magical Swazi celebrations, for a New Year’s Eve party to remember! Extra dates for the 10-day holidays include 9th September and 21st & 28th October and the New Year Safari commences 28th December.
Special New Year Safari
Celebrate New Year’s Eve in the most unique location in the world, Songimvelo Game Reserve, South Africa’s last true wilderness area. Spend four nights at a beautiful tented safari camp, one night in a stunning mountain camp and a final night at the prestigious Dawson’s Game and Trout lodge to complete the experience. Horseback explorations of the diverse landscape of wildlife-rich plains, valleys and highlands, will include numerous river crossings, steep climbs and descents and opportunities for some fast riding alongside a variety of game including Buffalo, White Rhino and Giraffe, so riders need to be competent at all paces. New Year’s Eve in the bush promises to be a magical experience with amazing entertainment provided by traditional Swazi dancers and the Marumba Band, and a delicious celebratory feast cooked over an open fire African-style.
The New Year safari costs £1,700 p/p including tented camp and safari lodge accommodation, all meals, park entrance fees, New Year’s Eve entertainment, horse, tack and expertly guided activities.
10-day Songimvelo Safaris in September and October cost £1,400 p/p.
