LATE AVAILABILITY FOR FAMILIES
HIGH ATLAS ADVENTURE
8-DAYS DEPARTING 21st OR 28th JULY

Summer hotting up and still not booked the family holiday?  Families Worldwide has space on their 8-day High Atlas Adventure walking holiday, combining the hustle and bustle of Marrakech with an opportunity to cool off in the mountains, meet the local Berbers, ride mules and even learn to cook the national dish - tajine stew.  Departures from Heathrow or Gatwick are available on the 21st and 28th July.

Start the holiday with a spot of haggling in the atmospheric bazaar of old Marrakech and mingle amongst the snake charmers, jugglers, storytellers and fire-eaters of the city’s famous square - Djemna el Fna.  A two-hour drive takes guests into the cool, tranquil atmosphere of the Atlas Mountains.  From here, using mules to carry baggage and children, explorations are made along mountain paths, visiting traditional Berber villages and seeing high mountains and remote valleys.  Finally there is a last night in Marrakech and a chance to extend to the coast to the atmospheric port and old pirate’s lair of Essaouira.

The holiday costs £689 adults, £569 children (under 12 years) including scheduled flights with Royal Air Maroc, transfers, accommodation in hotels, village houses and mountain refuge, most meals and expert guiding.
