Discover Toronto’s diversity during a city tour, then head to Niagara Falls and step aboard the ‘Maid of the Mist’ for a boat ride right into the heart of the falls – prepare to get wet! Swap the deck for the track and VIA Rail’s Corridor Train, travelling through rural Ontario to the nation’s capital, Ottawa. Explore the charms of the city with its museums, galleries and boutiques. Once back onboard, travellers are bound for the quintessentially French, Québec City, via the Laurentians, one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world, formed almost 540 million years ago. As the only walled city in North America, historic Québec is a UNESCO designated World Heritage site. Explore the narrow cobbled streets in the old Latin Quarter, the fortifications, Place Royale and watch the colourful street entertainers. Hop back on the train to Montreal and discover the city, from the skyscrapers, Latin Quarter, vast Olympic complex topside, to the huge labyrinth of shops, restaurants and cinemas hidden underground. The holiday concludes back in Toronto, ready for homeward flights.
